Organisation description: We are an organisation that meets weekly and takes people and families out to local places to engage in outdoor pursuits. These activities can range from walking, hiking, canoeing mountain walking and cycling. We have taken some families out on week long camping trips to engage in other activites. Our primary goal is to offer and show people that there are lots of activities that can be enjoyed in the local area and beyond for a low or no cost. We have worked with other local groups with similar aims such as GMCR Runners. We have engaged with local social housing providers, the local TARA and social media to advertise ourselves and to increase our membership.
