Organisation description: Tackling Track safety Project CIC has 2 main themes (see below), but our aims are to help reduce crime and anti social behaviour in and around the UK's Railway and create stronger and safer communities that surround the UK Rail Network and its 2000+ Rail Stations.
1) Education - we provide rail safety education to people across the UK, particularly where there are crime and trespass hot spots.
2) Community hub - Our head office is based in Walkden and within our building we've created space that the local community can access. The space comprises of a small meeting room, a large classroom and 2 large studios all. The purpose of the facility is to provide affordable space, so that local organisations can provide community focused services that incorporate the rail safety message and help reduce crime and anti social behaviour.
We already have a number of resident organisations offering a wide range of services.
