Organisation description: Art with Heart are an award-winning CIC creating Performance, Participation and Education projects. We create meaningful artistic experiences that support personal and collective growth to instigate social change. We create performance, participation and education projects with a focus on engaging women, young people and diverse communities. We make work with a social conscience exploring identity, mental health, social justice and equality. We pride ourselves in grassroots research and development with communities and are committed to providing meaningful, authentic and accessible artistic experiences. Compelling, compassionate and candid, our work is created with humour, hope and a lot of heart.
Accolades: Our play 'Secret Diaries' won Theatre Production of the Year (Co-operative Loved by You) Award. In 2016 we were nominated for Community Organisation of the Year at LGBT Foundation Hero Awards and Equalities Award at Heart of Salford. Sarah Emmott nominated for Purple List (influential bisexuals). Our Advocates include Rory Bremner, Kate Green OBE and Sally Carr MBE.
