Organisation description: Dance Manchester is Greater Manchester’s central dance organisation providing a whole range of opportunities for dance. We are a charity working to increase access to high quality dance activity to under represented communities, working throughout the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester in partnership with local authorities, communities, educators and artists.
At Dance Manchester we specialise in developing dance for the outdoors and in unusual spaces, we want to break boundaries and offer new experiences both to artists and audiences. Our work ranges from a number of exciting community projects in the Greater Manchester districts such as ‘Stride’ and 'Signatures', to the biennial international festival, Urban Moves, and lots in between
