Salford CVS AGM including the Pitch in 60 Seconds

Join us and Salford CVS members at our 51st Annual General Meeting, at Eccles Community Hall on Thursday 12th December 2024.

5:30pm for food and networking with the official business starting at 6pm prompt 

As well as the formal AGM business we will be hosting the popular ‘Pitch in 60 Seconds’ session, where CVS member organisations can choose to speak to the room for 60 seconds, explaining why their organisation deserves to win up to  £1,000!

You will be able to download a copy of our annual report and audited accounts by visiting our website from Monday 9th December.

To vote at our AGM you will need to be a Salford CVS member, you can read the eligibility criteria and complete a membership form HERE

If you are unable to attend and are a member of Salford CVS you can still vote via proxy form, if you require a proxy form please contact our office on 0161 787 7795 or email  office@salfordcvs.co.uk,  

Pitch in 60 Seconds 

If you want to pitch on the day please ensure you register for the AGM and book your place to pitch no later than Thursday 5th December. Only the first 15 organisations to apply will be able to pitch.  

At the end of the pitches, everyone who attends the AGM will vote for their winners. There will be 3 prizes on the night:

1st place wins £1,000

2nd place wins £500

3rd place wins £250

Pitch Rules - VCSE organisations of any size can apply to bid – the only rules are:

1. You are a full member of CVS
2. You attend ALL of the AGM, from 6pm – 8:45pm
3. You take no more than 60 seconds to clearly pitch what you want the £1,000 for
4. The money is to be spent on charitable activities which clearly benefit the people of Salford
