Salford Regeneration: Have Your Say!

Salford has experienced rapid development and economic growth in recent years; it is home to a vibrant economy that is leading growth in Greater Manchester and its population has grown at a rate that nowhere else in the north of England can match.

Salford City Council are committed to build upon this success, developing sustainable growth in the city to meet the growing needs of residents and businesses through an inclusive economy ‘The Salford Way’.

As part of The Salford Way, Salford City Council is set to transform Eccles, Swinton, and Pendleton over the next 10–15 years with large-scale regeneration projects.

Prior to going out to find development partners,  the council has commissioned a local needs assessment and a placed-based framework for social value priorities, both of which any developers will have to adhere to.

We’re reaching out to local VCSE organisations to share insights, challenges, and strengths that will help shape these documents to maximise  the social, economic, and environmental benefits for the community that regeneration can bring.
