We're looking for an experienced manager to lead and develop counselling services. Are you interested?

As a charity, we have been operating counselling services for over 37 years'. Currently we deliver individual counselling, couples counselling, family counselling and children and young people's counselling. We do this not only through our centres, but through a range of innovative projects in places such as community centres, schools, hospitals and pupil referral units.

We have identified a need in our organisation, as we've doubled in size in the last year, to increase counselling management capacity and as such, have created this new role.

The role will sit on our Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for the management of all our counselling services. They will be required to work closely alongside our Clinical Head of Counselling, who is responsible for clinical oversight.

We are looking for an experienced manager, who is educated to postgraduate level, with a strong knowledge of counselling and ethical frameworks. Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative worker and have experience leading a team.

The role would suit somebody organised and articulate who has the ability to build positive relationships with staff. The role will require the candidate to be a strong communicator that can handle both strategic and practical issues and is willing to challenge others.
