This Social Prescribing Day *18 March) we have lots of good news to share! We've been chosen to be part of the Greater Manchester green social prescribing programme. We'll be working together with local partners, including Wellbeing Matters, to develop green social prescribing to help grow better mental health. Our focus is to engage with our wider communities, enabling more people to benefit, leaving a legacy of more grassroots community projects being at the centre of our communities’ health and wellbeing. Find out more about the plans for green social prescribing in GM. Further cause for celebration, Debs Johnson, Community Connector in Salford has been named the national Link Worker of the Year. Debs works across Eccles, Irlam and Cadishead for local social enterprise, Unlimited Potential, as part of the Wellbeing Matters programme in Salford. More about Debs and her award. |
