Vocal Poverty & Inequality Forum
About the Forum
Vocal Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Forum was established in February 2019 and changed its name and focus in 2024, becoming the Vocal Poverty & Inequality Forum. The Forum brings together a range of VCSE groups, in particular those working to tackle poverty and work with communities of identity within the city of Salford.
Aim
Vocal Poverty & Inequality Forum aims to reduce poverty and inequalities and promote inclusion within the city of Salford.
Objectives
- To provide broad ranging representation of the view and interests of VCSE organisations working to reduce poverty and inequalities within the city of Salford
- To represent the views of Vocal Poverty & Inequality membership at Multi Agency Strategic Partnerships
- To ensure that the Forum membership organisations’ expertise and diverse experience fully informs strategy, service transformation and commissions
